When installing the OWL (RTK) station for optimal performance, consider the following placement recommendations:

  1. Ideal Positioning-- The OWL station should be installed in an open-sky location, away from obstacles such as tall structures or trees. Avoid narrow spaces that might obstruct satellite signals. A clear, unobstructed view of the sky ensures better signal reception. 
  1. Roof or Attic Installation-- Alternatively, you can install the OWL antenna on your roof or within the attic, ensuring it is positioned in a way that provides an unimpeded view of the sky. Proper placement of the OWL antenna in an open-sky area or strategically on your roof/attic facilitates better signal reception and enhances the accuracy of your RTK system.

CHARGING STATION

Charging station positioning is important for GOMOW to work efficiently. The station is where your GOMOW conducts its wireless charging while the battery is low and rests between every mowing session. The Charging station and OWL antenna should be in an open wide space to get a strong signal from GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System.) The antenna should have a clear sky view not under the trees or obstacles. Here is all the information to follow,

  • First install the power supply.
  • Install at a height exceeding 30 cm (12 inches) from the ground.
  • Keep away from water, heat, and direct sunlight for best results.
  • Connect the extension cable to the charging station and power supply.
  • Keep a space after 2 meters (6.6 feet) of clearance between the sides and the front of the station, keeping it away from obstacles, such as houses, trees, and walls.
  • Install the station using loop plugs and floor anchors. This will allow you to position the station securely.

NOTE

  1. Install the charging station at the side of the mowing area to optimize efficiency and accessibility.
  2. If you prefer to install the charging station within the mowing area, ensure it is designated as an off-limits area to prevent interference with mowing operations.
  3. Install the charging station on a flat surface and ensure it is not installed at an angle. If there is grass at the installation site, clear and level the ground first for optimal installation.

    CUTTING MECHANISM

     ANTI-THEFT ALARM

    This feature pledges that only authorized users authenticated through the GOMOW app can operate the device, ensuring that only trusted individuals can control the mower.

    Security Alert Mechanism-- In the event of an unauthorized attempt to move or tamper with the device, the anti-theft protection system triggers a loud alarm. Once the alarm is triggered, the blade motor and driving motors will stop. Simultaneously, an alert is promptly sent to your GOMOW app, immediately notifying you of the security breach. This allows for quick action to protect your mower.
